Frequently asked questions
You will have many questions, these are the ones that come up most often – that doesn’t mean you can’t ask more!
- Are you licensed?
This is a very important question! The answer is YES! It is illegal to run a home boarding establishment without a licence. You can view mine HERE.
- Are there breeds you do not take?
YES! I cannot accommodate banned breeds, specifically:
- Pit Bull Terrier
- Japanese Tosa
- Dogo Argentino
- Fila Braziliero
- XL Bully
There are other breeds I choose not to accept:
- French Bulldog – Sian does though: 07701082683
- Staffordshire Bull Terrier
- Sight Hounds
- Pocket Bully
- Husky
- German Shepherd
- Cane Corso
- Are there any size limits?
Yes. I do not typically accept dogs over 25kg. I may also turn very small dogs away at certain times if I feel they would not be safe with other dogs booked in on the requested dates.
- Do you have any age restrictions?
No. As long as your dog has had all of their vaccinations, there is no reason why they can’t come and stay, as long as they get on with the other dogs. I don’t have an upper age limit but please bear in mind that your older dog may find being with lots of dogs a little overwhelming.
- Do you do solo boarding?
There is every chance that at quiet times, your dog may be the only one here but this is not something I can guarantee.
- Do you board cats?
NO! Not if you want them back in one piece! Just dogs here!
